Drag it anywhere, resize it, snap it to a corner or minimize it to a bubble. Works in normal, theater and fullscreen.
Free Chrome extension
YouTube comments, without leaving the video.
Eavesdrop puts the comments in a floating glass panel right over the player — so you can watch and read at the same time, even in fullscreen.
No account. No tracking. No ads.

FAQ
Questions
Does it cover the video or the subtitles?
You decide where it goes: drag it, resize it, snap it to a corner, lower its opacity or minimize it to a small bubble. It never covers the subtitles.
Do I need an account?
No. Not for Eavesdrop, and not for buying Pro — checkout only asks for an email to send your license key.
Does Eavesdrop collect my data?
No. It has no servers. Comments are fetched from YouTube's official API with only the video ID, and everything you save stays in your browser. See the privacy policy.
What happens if I reinstall Chrome or the extension?
Paste the same license key again in Settings. It's in the confirmation email from your purchase.
Which browsers are supported?
Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers that support Chrome Web Store extensions, like Edge and Brave.
What if Pro doesn't work for me?
If something isn't working for you, reply to your purchase email and we'll sort it out.
Watch and read at the same time.
Eavesdrop is free. Install it in seconds and open any YouTube video.
Coming soon to the Chrome Web Store.
